I had always known that the path I had chosen was fraught with danger. But, the lure of easy money was too strong to resist. So, I made my deal with the devil, and it seemed like a good one at that. I was to carry out a hit, and in return, I would be paid handsomely. It sounded simple enough, but now, as I waited in the shadows of an alleyway, waiting for my target to appear, I knew that nothing was as simple as it seemed.
