Sichuan University of Media and Communications (SCMC) is a provincial full-time undergraduate college which was established in 1955. It is located in Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province. Courses and Curriculum

SCMC offers undergraduate programs in Journalism, Broadcasting and TV, Advertising, Animation, Film and Television Studies, Digital Media Art, Public Relations, Editing and Publishing, and Local Television Station Management. It also offers master programs in Journalism and Communication. The college adopts a credit system and offers students a wide range of elective courses to choose from. SCMC has won over 400 domestic and international awards for scientific research and teaching quality. It has also launched a number of research projects at both the national and provincial levels, providing intelligent support for media development in the Era of Big Data.
